Our Beliefs

The Bible: The Bible is the inspired and trustworthy Word of God and provides truth for
salvation, faith, and life.
2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:20-21

The Triune God: There is one God, eternally existing as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Humanity and Sin: Human beings are created in the image of God, yet sin separates us from
God. Reconciliation with God is found through Jesus Christ.
Genesis 1:26-27; Romans 3:23; 1 Timothy 2:5

Salvation through Jesus Christ: Salvation is God’s gift of grace. We respond through
repentance, faith in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, and confession of Him as Lord.
Ephesians 2:8-9; Romans 5:1; Romans 10:9-10

The Holy Spirit and Spiritual Gifts: The Holy Spirit dwells in believers and gives gifts for the
strengthening of the Church and the work of ministry.
1 Corinthians 12:4-11; 1 Peter 4:10

Sanctification: Sanctification is the continuing work of God through which Christlike character
is developed in us.
Romans 6:19; Galatians 5:22-25

Divine Healing: We believe Jesus is Healer and that we may pray in faith for physical, mental,
emotional, and spiritual restoration while responding with wisdom and compassion.
Luke 9:11; Matthew 9:35; James 5:14-16

Fivefold Ministry: We believe Christ gives ministry gifts to equip believers for service and to
build up the Body of Christ.
Ephesians 4:11-16

The Church and Christian Community: Believers are called to gather, worship, learn, pray,
serve, practice love, and encourage one another.
Acts 2:42-47; Hebrews 10:24-25
